Show Me The Money
Monetization on Twitter is something
promised for creators, but for right now, the criteria are a little tough. 5 million impressions over 3 months are the requirements to qualify to make money on the network. It was previously at 15 million and has decreased by two-thirds.
In addition you need 500 followers (not bad) and a Twitter Blue subscription account to qualify. Popular YouTuber Roberto Blake shared his earnings here
and social media pundit Matt Navarra tweeted his earnings as well. Others are earning tens of thousands each month, but their content tends to be more
controversial.
I’m not sure this is hitting the creator economy as we want it to, but it’s
very early on, so I’ll keep you posted on anything more I find out.
I’d love to see Twitter reward
creators willing to continue to stay and play on the platform! But in the meantime, I’d love to see you stay, play, and find pay on the old Twitter right along with me. Are you in?
Til next week, happy creating…
Stay beautiful,
Ms. Ileane
P.S.: On my Patreon page I shared a sneak peek of a new feature Amazon launched to help Influencers boost their earnings. Patrons got early access to this but for a limited time, everyone can have a look.
