I’m always trying to clear up my desktop and ease my mind with easy-to-find tabs, articles, and favorite sites, and Google Chrome helps make it a little easier.

Especially when I want to record a video, I found a few super cool tricks working with Google extensions that make the job a whole lot easier!

Check These Out On Google Chrome

✔️ Visit the Chrome Web Store … to find useful extensions like one called “Blank New Tab” to create a new and completely cleared-out web tab for distraction-free viewing (just click down on your top right three dots and click on the Chrome Web Store under the extensions label 

✔️ Use the “Extensions Tab” (a click-down item from the top right three dots again) to merely turn off (not remove) extensions like Tube Buddy and VidIQ for taping videos showing YouTube on your desktop

✔️ Try the “Reading List” to save something important you need to look over (but NOT important enough to add as a “Bookmark”) by clicking on the side panel icon in the top right of your browser, clicking again on “Bookmarks” and finally on the label “Reading List” for easy access and less bookmark clutter

✔️ Don’t forget to manage your extensions by turning them on and off in the “Manage Extensions Tab” on the three-dot dropdown menu, on the top right of Chrome!

BONUS TIPS:

The current version of Chrome is 122.0.6261.69 and they roll out updates frequently. You can always see What's New here.  And if you are feeling adventurous and want to experiment with AI features in Chrome click here.

I like these timesavers and having an easy way to clear things up for my video-taping work with these tips using the Chrome Browser.
