Generate a
Website with a Dedicated Article for Each Video
In the video, I show you the steps:
- Grab your PodPage Account
- Login
- Go to Pages on the Dashboard
- Go to Settings
- Go to the Videos Tab
- Connect Your YouTube Channel
- Get Automatic Video Transfers to PodPage’s Dedicated Page on Your Website
Customize your page design any way you want. And you’ll most likely tweak or customize the “article” automatically created from your video to best serve your audience and biz needs. The
“article” PodPage pulls in for you is essentially your YouTube Description section, so it’s wise to give more or make changes exclusive to your site visitors as an incentive to build your audience directly.
(Psst… you can hide the video from your site completely if desired!)
Depending on the package you select, integrations from your page give you the ability to link to things like your “Buy Me a Coffee” button icon, your email service provider, or your scheduling tool (as I am with the banner on my site), and more. SEO functionality is also built-in for page optimization. And there’s a menu navigation tab dedicated to all the sites for your
podcast.
(Reminder: Don’t forget to go ahead and add your YouTube Channel there!)
One thing to note on the video pages. You cannot add additional images. Links are fine, and you can
change the social sharing image, but no extra images work on the video pages. But don’t worry, your podcast and blog pages have all the formatting and functionality of any other website so you’re not limited and can add images, screenshots, or whatever.
(Pro Tip: On your video tab, there’s also a “search” tab to help you easily
find videos you want to update or hide.)
I absolutely love the flexibility of my PodPage site! One of my favorite features is the capability to hide any video page, (say it’s outdated or you want to feature it in a blog post rather than just a video episode page) or maybe you’ll want to hide all your shorts, perhaps.
Monetization options are available through PodPage like Buy Me a Coffee as mentioned. Plus, have direct links to your storefront on YouTube (or Amazon) and add affiliate links. Showcase how to engage with an audience effectively through links that can’t be added in YouTube Shorts.
Bringing your audience, friends, and fans back to you, exclusively, and your unique YouTube video library without any distractions going on all around you and pulling viewers to YouTube stuff, gives you much more control over your content and user experience.
I can’t stress enough the importance of having an organized online presence for your YouTube content or podcast to take things to the next level. PodPage, my friend, is THE answer.
That's all for now so until
next week - Stay Beautiful!!
