I'm sure you've heard of the phrase "Call to Action" also referred to as CTA. It simply tells your readers and your followers "Here's what I want you to do". My question to you is this, have you decided on your call to action. I mean do you have one crystal-clear mission you are trying to accomplish with your blog? Maybe you have several, but today I'd like you to focus on just one thing, one action you want people to take when they visit your site.
If you're reading this, you can see how effective my call to action is. My goal was for you to sign up to get these tips. That way we both get the chance to know one another better and have a deeper connection. Do you remember in my first email I let you know that you can contact me if you have questions? Quite a few of you have contacted me and we've helped each other and had some wonderful exchanges of ideas.
A few people have asked me about the sign up form I have on my sidebar and the truth is that I wanted to add some pizazz to the form, and since I don't know how to use code, I got a premium plugin called Optin Skin and it has been converting really well. It's also important to put the sign up form on your contact page and your about page. For me those don't convert as well but it's always good to conduct your own tests to find out what works best.
