Out of the hundreds of books I’ve read in my lifetime, here are some of my favorites:
1. Perfect Is Boring by Tyra Banks
In Perfect Is Boring, Tyra Banks and her mother, Carolyn, get raw, real and cray-in-a-good-way as they share what they’ve learned on Tyra’s journey from insecure preteen to supermodel and entrepreneurial powerhouse.
2. The Ultimate Retirement Guide for 50+ by Suze Orman
The Ultimate Retirement Guide for 50+, gives you the no-nonsense advice and practical tools you need to plan wisely for your retirement in today's ever-changing landscape. You'll find new rules for downsizing, spending wisely, delaying Social Security benefits, and more-starting where you are right now.
3. Superfans: The Easy Way to Stand Out, Grow Your Tribe, and Build a Successful Business by Pat Flynn
This is a great book, that helps brands and businesses grow their tribe from scratch. It is a step-by-step guide to reach the top of what Pat Flynn calls, the Pyramid of Fandom. This book does not just let you climb up the Pyramid to the top, but also guides you on how to stay there for good.
4. So You Want to Start a Podcast
Finding Your Voice, Telling Your Story, and Building a Community That Will Listen
An inspiring, comprehensive, step-by-step guide to creating a hit show. So You Want to Start a Podcast covers everything from hosting and guest booking to editing and marketing - while offering plenty of encouragement and insider stories along the way.
5. Expert Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Creating a Mass Movement of People Who Will Pay for Your Advice by Russell Brunson
This one was highly recommended by my Online Business Coach Alease Michelle Jones. Most people who put their products up for sale don’t understand that their expertise is the key to actually selling the product. Your story, why you created this offer, and why you started your movement are what initially get people to convert and then continue to stay with you
over time.
In YouTube Secrets, online video experts Sean Cannell and Benji Travis draw on a decade of experience as well as interviews with more than 100 top creators to give you a step-by-step YouTube success playbook. YouTube has changed our world-from how we view video to how we connect and market-opening a new entrepreneurial landscape to ambitious individuals. Thousands of people generate six to seven figures
annually from online video content. And, with the right roadmap, you too could be en route to real influence and income.
