Spotify announced they are making Podcast Subscriptions available to all U.S. based podcasters. This is a game-changer, as you will be able to maximize your podcast revenue. The most important thing you should know is that with Spotify, you'll have 20 different price points to choose from, and your subscribers can pay monthly for exclusive content.

This new model is free. Starting in 2023, they will implement a 5% fee on subscription revenue. They are planning to expand internationally very soon!

You don't need to wonder how to get started. I will show you how in the video. But here is the first step:

Log into anchor.fm account.
Navigate to your 'Money' tab at the top of your screen.
If you were using "Monthly Supporter" option it must be disable first
Set up a Stripe account (they're the third-party platform to help process payments) add your payment information to finish activating the feature.
From here, search your inbox for an email called "Welcome to Stripe!" which includes a link to verify your email and start getting paid.
Once your account is verified, you'll be able to start accepting payments from your listeners. This can take up to 24 hours; we'll notify you as soon as it's active!

You will be able to mark episodes as subscriber-only and publish them to Spotify and other platforms.
